1 · Scan the receipt
Snap a photo or upload one. Text recognition pulls the line items and prices off it so you don’t type them in by hand.
2 · Check the items
OCR isn’t perfect. Fix a misread price or name, add anything it missed, and you’ve got a clean list.
3 · Add the diners
Add who was there, each person’s tip preference, and an optional Venmo or Zelle handle for payment.
4 · Assign items
Tap items onto people. Shared a plate of nachos? Split that one item across everyone who picked at it.
5 · Get the totals
Tax and tip are split in proportion to each person’s subtotal, not flat, so nobody overpays for the table’s tip.

There’s no sign-up and no login. The receipt photo is read into text and discarded; the order itself lives in your own browser’s localStorage so you can pick up where you left off. Clear it from the app, wipe your site data, or use a private window.
